Hi, I'm Juho Rauhio.
I'm a 20-year-old from Oulu, Finland, and I've always been drawn to entrepreneurship and creative work. Back in school I was sketching logos in the corners of my notebooks and building my first websites instead of doing homework. At some point I realized these two passions – entrepreneurship and creating things – could be combined into a profession.
That's how VAU AGENCY was born. I've been building websites for four years now: I code every site without ready-made templates, and Shopify online stores have become familiar territory too. I also design logos and brands for businesses that don't have theirs sorted yet. Being young is an advantage in this work: I grew up on the internet, I know what modern looks like, and I learn new technologies before my competitors have even heard of them.
When you choose VAU, you're not buying a project from a factory. You deal directly with me from start to finish – I personally answer every message, and every pixel passes through my hands. That's why I dare to make this promise: if you're not happy, I won't rest until you are.

As a young entrepreneur, every project is my chance to prove myself. You benefit from the fact that I have more on the line.
Why the name VAU?
Because it's Finnish for "wow" – and it's the only reaction I accept. When your customer opens your site for the first time, that's exactly what they should say – out loud or in their head. Everything I do aims at that three-letter moment.
